Located in the heart of downtown Floresville, the Arcadia Theatre, is only 20 minutes from City Base on the south side of San Antonio.  With easy access on business U.S. HWY 181 in Floresville, the Arcadia Theatre is a short drive, 20 minutes, from Citybase the former military base.  Also in close proximity are the towns of Calaveras, Elmendorf, Falls City, Jourdanton, Karnes City, Kenedy, La Vernia, Nixon, Pleasanton, Poth, San Antonio, Seguin, Stockdale and Sutherland Springs.  Now Showing at the Arcadia Theatre includes the current movies and move showtimes while Coming Soon shows the upcoming films. 

You don't have to travel far to see first run movies that are now showing and coming soon.  The Arcadia Theatre has 3 movie screens and features kids and family movies in a historic theatre dating back the 1920's.  The 1980's hit Big Brawl starring Jackie Chan included a fight scene inside the Arcadia Theatre.

We are open seven days a week and are also rent out the Arcadia Theatre for birthday parties and other events.  To schedule a birthday party or event, please call 830-393-3001.  There is plenty of parking on the Courthouse Square and the Arcadia Theatre is conveniently located across the street from the Courthouse steps.  You visit to our downtown theatre can be followed with shopping and dining in nearby shops and restaurants.

Now showing and coming soon includes movie show times on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  When school is in session, we are open 7 days a week.   We are open Monday through Friday in the evening and on the weekends, we include Saturday and Sunday Matinee movies in the mid afternoon in addition to evening show times.  Every day is movie day at the Arcadia Theatre.  During the Summer, the Arcadia Theatre is open seven days a week, and, shows free kids movies at noon on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  This gives bored kids a fun option during the busy week that is both fun and cost effective.  It also allows parents to give their kids a fun activity and gets them out of the house.
