Alexander & The Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day

Plot: Alexander's day begins with gum stuck in his hair, followed by more calamities. Though he finds little sympathy from his family and begins to wonder if bad things only happen to him, his mom, dad, brother, and sister all find themselves living through their own terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day.

Floresville, Texas is home to the annual Peanut Festival held every year on the 2nd full weekend of October on the courthouse square where the Arcadia Theatre is located.  Coming soon after the summer months, the festival offers plenty of entertainment throughout the week and weekend.  People from neighboring towns like Poth, Stockdale, Fall City, La Vernia, Elmendorf, Kenedy, Karnes City, Pleasanton Poteet, Seguin and Southerland Springs come and enjoy the activities just outside the Arcadia Theatre.  Just 20 minutes from City Base, the festival attracts many from the San Antonio area as well.  The Eagle Ford Shale has brought many jobs and job opportunities to the Floresville and surrounding areas.  There are many new Hotels and trailer parks coming soon to our area to accommodate this influx of people.  Our growing city and economy will ensure new businesses and services coming soon to Floresville and the Arcadia Theatre welcomes them. Floresville has a 4A High School, a Middle School and two Elementary Schools.  The Tigers of Floresville are competitive in the sports of football, basketball, baseball, volleyball, tennis, track and many other sports coming soon.  The school district is Floresville Independent School District and the school board is made up of many local men and women from the area.  New programs and college credit offereings are coming soon to the high school.  Many students enjoy movies at the historic Arcadia Theatre. The Arcadia Theater in Floresville, Texas is just 20 minutes away from Brooks City Base.  The 2005 Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) decision relocated Air Force missions to other installations and brought to an end 95 years of active military operations at Brooks City Base.  Coming soon is a new era of innovation at Brooks City Base as the Air Force officially leaves the development.  For the first time in more than 95 years, Brooks City Base became an open campus as part of that transition. Today, Brooks City-Base represents a master planned community offering affordable housing and more than 1,200 acres of real estate for mixed-use development, including up to 400,000 square feet of available space for office, light industrial and retail opportunities with more coming soon.
